Sony will do the right thing??? If they are going to allow used games across multiple consoles, why didn't they come out and flat out say it. I think everything is rumor and take it as it is. I don't see Sony and Microsoft going different path, they will do what the other do for the sake of being competitive.
Forget that, if games are $70, i'll be boycotting it as $60 is already pushing it. There is no way on God's green earth that I will buy it for that amount.

Man, I sure hope this is around $400 and not any higher because adding in an extra controller is $50, probably 4 games at launch which is another $240, that is $700 in total cost. Still too high for any consoles IMO. Might have to wait out a bit until both the new consoles are cheaper and just playing backlogs of current gen games until the price drop.
Sony, for some odd reasons, always treated Europe as second class citizens when it comes to their hardware releases and inflated prices. Don't they understand that Europe is currently their biggest market? I think getting enough GDDR5 ram might be an issue for Sony. But for selfish reasons, as long as the PS4 is $400 and will be released in the US before Christmas, I am totally fine with it, as I do want one for myself.
I am afraid the Wii U is gong to be Nintendo's Dreamcast. It is selling way below expectation and it is only going to get worst when the PS4/X720 are released. Nintendo were lucky in the Wii in that the motion control attract a new casual segments but core games simply don't exist or sell on the Wii. I wish them all the luck because I owned all the Nintendo systems and it will be a sad day when they are out of the hardware business.

You can't be serious, this is the first year since the introduction of the the X360 that Microsoft didn't have any game set to be released at the end of the year, same as Sony. Of course the X720 is going to be released this year with a set of launch lineup ready to be unleashed at E3. Microsoft has spy everywhere and know exactly what Nintendo and Sony are up to, just ask the hacker that was caught by the FBI.

Microsoft is going to bring their AAA game, for sure. A nice mixed of games, from hardcore to casual, extend the superiority of Live, offer spec that is similar to the PS4, launch around the same time as the PS4, offer seamless backward compatibility in both disc and arcade games, be cheaper than the PS4, and advertise the heck out if it.
If they follow my plan, regardless of what the Sony fans here on N4G might think, I think Microsoft will have a great product.
Thank god the X720 will be getting Blu Ray, so now there is no excuse for Konami not to release the next Metal Gear on a Microsoft system.
They are saving their hands for the Microsoft show so they can demo Destiny with the Kinect exclusive motion control feature.

The Kinect is one Sku to be counted on and the Move can be several controller for all we know and nothing on the Move are as successful as Dance Central or Kinct Sports on Kinect, that is why you don't hear much about the Move games.

One thing is they better keep the cost low, 8gb of GDDR5 isn't cheap, by willing to subsidize and be in the $400-$450 price range because no matter how powerful your system is, ask 3DO and original PS3 price, pricing and advertisement dollars will ultimately determine the success of the PS4. Here hopping $399 at launch so even I can buy one at launch. If Microsoft undercut Sony by $100 or more, then it can be a tough uphill climb for Sony. Just telling like it is.
I would love to see the spin from the fanboys on N4G if Sony decides to charge for online play. I hope it isn't true but this place would explode if PSN Gold is announced at E3.
Only Sony fans would secretly hope this the case so the PS4 can dominate, don't you think Microsoft is well aware of this issue and will do whatever they can to compete? It is that simple.
